Here are a few of the therapies we can provide:
A tooth-colored resin substance that resembles putty and closely matches the colour of your teeth will be shaped and applied directly to your teeth by one of our dentists to repair tiny imperfections. A highly calibrated light is utilized to cure and solidify the bonding substance. Following polishing, the results are a natural look and finish that will last for an average of five to eight years. You can plan to move to veneers or continue with dental bonding as needed throughout that period.
In just two consultations, we can completely alter your smile with porcelain veneers. These are thin, durable porcelain or composite resin tooth coverings that are attached to the front of your natural teeth. Veneers are always personalized to fit you and your smile naturally, and they are intended to address dental flaws and create a beautiful smile.
At the initial session, we will focus on diagnosis, treatment planning, and preparation. We’ll discuss your objectives and the most cost-effective manner to attain them. Bonding will take place on the second visit after one of our dentists examines for fit and colour and makes any modifications that are necessary.
A crown’s principal function is to cover (typically) a single broken, heavily filled, or otherwise damaged tooth. The crown not only improves the appearance of the tooth but also provides additional protection. Because it blends in so well with the existing teeth, porcelain is the most favoured material.
In the case of crowns, the most recent technology allows us to take an impression of the subject tooth and mill a new crown in minutes – no longer do we have to wait days for a new crown and force patients to attend many times!
If your smile is no longer as brilliant as it once was owing to missing teeth, a dental bridge may be the best option. A bridge is a set of prosthetic teeth supported by healthy teeth on each side.
It enhances the appearance of a smile while also protecting healthy teeth from moving out of place over time. Once attached, the bridge remains in place and is cared for in the same way as natural teeth are, with regular brushing and flossing and dental examinations.
Brighter teeth are always necessary to make you want to show off your smile. Teeth whitening is one of the simplest and quickest ways to improve your look, and it can be done in our clinic using laser technology or at home using an at-home customized kit. Whatever approach you choose, you can get long-term benefits at a reasonable expense.
You may be a candidate for gum contouring surgery if you are uncomfortable with your smile because your gums are either low or too high on your teeth. This cosmetic dentistry technique, also known as gum contouring or tissue sculpting, can correct an uneven gum line and give you a confident smile.
What is the allure of cosmetic dentistry nowadays? Because a beautiful grin makes us feel good about ourselves and allows us to share our joy with the rest of the world. Please contact us today to learn more.

We recommend that patients visit our office at least twice each year to ensure their optimal oral health and to help avoid serious and costly future problems. In addition to cleaning and polishing all the visible and hidden surfaces of your teeth, we also check for many potential problems. Tooth decay, oral cancer and periodontal (gum) disease are just a few examples of problems that can have serious consequences if left undetected. In certain cases, we may even recommend 3 or 4 visits per year in order to properly treat conditions that require more regular attention.
Maintaining a regular appointment schedule with your dentist isn’t just good for your teeth, it’s an important part of your overall health.
Bleeding during brushing and flossing is often the first sign of periodontal (gum) disease. This means that your gums have become inflamed or infected as a result of plaque and tartar buildup along and below the gum lines. This condition can become very serious if left untreated and can eventually lead to receding gums and tooth loss.
The best treatment for this condition is a visit to your dentist for a thorough check-up and cleaning, followed by a complete regimen of brushing and flossing. With prompt and thorough treatment, the condition if caught early can normally be corrected. Please feel free to call our office if you have noticed bleeding during tooth brushing, or if you would like direction on proper home care techniques.
According to recent studies, almost half the population of adults in North America suffers at least occasionally from bad breath (halitosis). The most common cause of bad breath is bacteria in the mouth and on the back of the tongue. These bacteria produce a volatile sulfur compound, which in turn produces a smell similar to “rotten eggs”. (Other non-dental causes of halitosis include certain foods, smoking, alcohol, hormonal changes or simply being hungry.)
If the halitosis is of oral origin, the treatment usually begins with ensuring meticulous hygiene of the mouth. Your dentist or dental hygienist will check for gum disease and, if necessary, prepare a detailed treatment plan. Tongue scraping should also become an important part of daily home care and part of your regular tooth brushing routine. (it’s easy and painless).
High-speed collisions that occur during the play of sports like hockey, football, soccer and basketball can cause serious tooth damage. A professionally fitted mouth-guard is the best defense for any athlete against this. The mouth guards provided in our office are custom-made to perfectly fit the wearer’s teeth which can result in a more comfortable and secure fit. In addition, we use a heavier mouth guard material selected based upon each patient’s individual needs. The boil and bite mouth-guards that you purchase in retail stores simply can not provide the same level of protection.
So what is “Cosmetic Dentistry”, and what types of treatments does it involve?
Many of our patients have asked us about replacing very old crowns that have deteriorated or crowns that do not blend well with their natural teeth.
One of our skilled dentists will ensure that the colour and shade is matched and the crown is shaped precisely for a very natural, indistinguishable appearance
